Marzamemi International Frontier Film Festival

2025 Edition

Also in 2025, the International Frontier Film Festival enlivened the summer of Marzamemi, in the Municipality of Pachino, in the province of Syracuse. The usual setting of Piazza Regina Margherita welcomed the open-air evening screenings, faithful to the formula that has characterized the festival directed by Nello Correale for over twenty years.

The program, divided between feature films and short films, reaffirmed the festival's focus on frontier, Mediterranean, and independent cinema, accompanied by meetings with directors and guests, as well as the literary section Frontiera del libro. The event confirmed its role as a cultural landmark for the village and the entire Val di Noto territory.
