Marzamemi Book Fest

The 5th edition of the Marzamemi Book Fest was held from October 2nd to 5th, 2025, in the village of Marzamemi, a hamlet of Pachino, in the province of Syracuse, with the theme "Reading, Building", dedicated to the power of stories to realize projects and grow a territory around culture.

The program, with over forty events concentrated in Piazza Regina Margherita and the spaces of the Tonnara, alternated author meetings, book presentations, free workshops on writing, reading, comics, and acting, silent readings, poetry slams, and musical moments. Guests included writers and cultural voices such as Matteo Nucci, Francesco Piccolo, Cecilia Sala, Maurizio de Giovanni, Elvira Seminara, and Annalisa Cuzzocrea, alongside concerts by Michele Bravi and Mario Venuti with Tony Canto, and a tribute to Andrea Camilleri.

The edition was conceived by Barbara Fronterrè, directed by Sabina Minardi, and organized by the APS "Un paese ci vuole", with L'Espresso as media partner. All events were free to attend.
