The 2025 Martina Franca Carnival
The 2025 edition of the Martina Franca Carnival took place from February 27 to March 4, promoted by the Terra Martinae del Castrum Vetus association with the support of the Municipality and the collaboration of numerous local associations.
Fat Thursday (February 27) opened the celebrations with an animated parade featuring mascots, flag-wavers, and dancers. On Sunday, March 2, a costume parade took place in the historic center on the theme "At Carnival, every fashion counts". On Tuesday, March 4, the festivities concluded with the second edition of the satirical re-enactment of "La Morte di CarnialònƏ", starting from Piazza XX Settembre.
The event confirmed Martina Franca's role in promoting Apulian folk traditions, transforming the baroque center into a festive stage for the entire community.
