Marsala Kite Fest

In June 2025, the Stagnone Lagoon of Marsala hosted a new edition of the Marsala Kite Fest, the great kitesurfing festival that transforms this corner of the province of Trapani into a stage for sport and spectacle every year. The sporting part, with races and freestyle exhibitions, was concentrated at the Sailing Club and the Stagnone body of water, while artistic and musical appointments animated the city center.

As per tradition, the 2025 edition offered free trials and lessons for kitesurfing, windsurfing, and SUP to the public, in addition to the competitions that attract athletes from all over Europe. There was no shortage of street food stands with the flavors of the Sicilian tradition and evening entertainment, in a festive atmosphere that combined sport, nature, and conviviality in the unique setting of the Marsala salt pans.
