Maria Vergine della Palma Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the Maria Vergine della Palma Patronal Feast took place on Sunday, July 27, 2025, in the historic center of Palmariggi, in Salento, in the Province of Lecce.

As per tradition, the festivities combined religious and civil aspects: the Solemn Holy Mass in honor of the patron saint, the procession of the statue of the Madonna della Palma through the village streets, the artistic illuminations that lit up the roads, and the brass band concert in the square.

At the end of the day, the customary fireworks display illuminated the sky over the Otranto village, sealing a deeply felt celebration also linked to the devotion to the nearby Madonna di Montevergine.
