Edition 2025 — Madonna di Trapani in Tonnarella

The 2025 edition of the Maria SS. di Trapani Festival in Tonnarella took place on Saturday, August 10, and Sunday, August 11. Following religious celebrations and the procession of the statue through the village streets, Sunday culminated in the evocative sea procession of the Madonna along the beaches of Tonnarella, Falcone, and Marchesana, concluding with the traditional fireworks display over the water.

2025 Edition

The 2025 Maria SS. di Trapani Festival in Tonnarella, a seaside hamlet of the Municipality of Furnari (ME), was celebrated over the weekend of August 10 and 11. Saturday was dedicated to religious services and evening entertainment in the square, featuring food stalls with traditional Sicilian dishes.

Sunday marked the highlight of the festivities: after the solemn Holy Mass, the statue of the Madonna was carried in procession to the sea and hoisted onto a decorated boat, leading a flotilla of vessels along the coast. The day ended late in the evening with fireworks over the sea, attended by a large crowd of faithful and vacationers.
