Soccorso Feast 2025

In 2025, the community of Caltavuturo once again gathered around its patroness, Maria Santissima del Soccorso, during the customary days in September. The celebrations followed the tradition passed down through generations: the transfer of the statue from the Church of Sant'Agostino ("Chiesa del Collegio") to the Mother Church, daily masses, and the entrustment of the village to the Virgin.

On September 10th, the solemn day of the feast, the day opened with the morning Eucharistic celebration, attended by the members of the Confraternity, and concluded with the evocative procession of the Marian statue through the streets of the village. A day lived intensely by the entire community of Caltavuturo, in the heart of the Madonie in the province of Palermo.
