Maria SS. del Pane Patronal Feast

The 2025 edition of the Maria SS. del Pane Patronal Feast enlivened Novoli on the third Sunday of July, confirming a tradition that the northern Salento community has cherished for over three centuries. The religious program featured Holy Masses celebrated from the early hours of the morning, the transfer of the statue to the Mother Church, the solemn Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Archbishop of Lecce, and the well-attended procession with the statue of the Virgin through the streets of the center.

On the civil side, there was no shortage of brass band concerts in the traditional bandstand, comedy and musical shows in Piazza Regina Margherita, and the illuminations that lit up the town. The feast, organized by the Maria SS. del Pane Feast Committee with the Municipality of Novoli and the Pro Loco, once again united faith, music, and typical Salento flavors in a highly anticipated event of the Lecce summer.
