Maria Santissima Bambina Festival

2025 Edition

The 2025 Maria Santissima Bambina Festival in Monterosso Almo (province of Ragusa) was celebrated from September 28 to October 5, with the solemn day on Sunday, October 5. Due to restoration work in the Church of Saint Anne, the statue was exceptionally kept in the Church of Saint John the Baptist.

Following the novena with the recitation of the Rosary and evening Eucharistic services, the weekend evenings brought life to Piazza Rimembranza: on Friday, October 3, the musical show "Canterò per te" featured a Pooh tribute band, and on Saturday, October 4, the Povia concert was followed by a DJ set, in collaboration with the municipal administration. Sunday began at dawn with bells and firecrackers, followed by solemn celebrations, processions of the statue through the village streets, and a fireworks display in Piazza San Giovanni.

2025 Program

• September 28 - October 4: Novena with recitation of the Rosary (6:30 PM) and evening Eucharistic services
• Friday, October 3: Eucharistic celebration (7:00 PM); 9:00 PM "Canterò per te" show with a Pooh tribute band in Piazza Rimembranza
• Saturday, October 4: Collection with the town band (from the afternoon); 7:00 PM Holy Mass; 9:30 PM Povia concert in Piazza Rimembranza, followed by a DJ set
• Sunday, October 5: 7:30 AM festive ringing of bells and firing of firecrackers; Eucharistic celebrations; processions of the statue through the village streets with the town band; evening fireworks in Piazza San Giovanni
