Edition 2025 — Maremmana Meat Festival
A record-breaking edition
The 38th edition of the Maremmana Meat Festival was held in Monte Romano from August 1st to 3rd, 2025, with stands opening at 7:00 PM and service until approximately 11:30 PM. The heart of the festival was Piazza Dante, recently renovated, flanked by Piazza Lodovico Leo.
In the kitchen, the classic repertoire of local tradition: grilled steak, beef stew, tripe, tongue, and Monte Romano biscuits with local wines. On the musical front, Friday featured the band Kosacustika, Saturday Gli Stornellatori with Roman music followed by a DJ set for dancing, and Sunday I Figli delle Stelle with Italian classics.
The inauguration was attended by regional and chamber of commerce authorities and included a blessing by Bishop Gianrico Ruzza. Over 5,000 people took part in the three evenings, organized by the Pro Loco Monte Romano APS with the involvement of veteran cooks and young volunteers.
