Maremma Wild Boar Pappardelle Festival

The 2025 edition of the Maremma Wild Boar Pappardelle Festival took place in Monteverdi Marittimo (Province of Pisa) during the mid-August evenings, around Ferragosto, at the Piazza Falcone Borsellino Festival Area. As per tradition, the Pro Loco prepared strictly handmade pappardelle, seasoned with succulent Maremma wild boar ragù and stew.

Every evening, the square came alive with music and dancing thanks to a different musical group, in an atmosphere of joy and conviviality typical of the Maremma hill festivals. The event confirmed its role as a showcase for local cuisine and traditions.
