Edition 2025 — Marea – moto continuo
Marea 2025: the first edition
The first edition of the Marea festival animated the Teatro Comunale Salvatore Cicero in Cefalù from 16 February to 17 May 2025, with six free performances at 7:00 PM. Under the artistic direction of Santi Cicardo and promoted by the Municipality of Cefalù, the programme featured productions ranging from myth to original dramaturgy.
Among the titles on the programme: «Polifemo innamorato» with Giovanni Calcagno, «Masquerade Mask», «Arte_Mi_Sia. Inchiesta sul bello e l'osceno» by Santi Cicardo, «Accamora. Ovvero tutto su mia madre» by Paolo Mannina, and «Il mio nome è Caino» with Ninni Bruschetta. A debut that laid the foundations for the project, which was resumed and expanded the following year with the subtitle «moto continuo».
