The Mardimago Country Festival takes place in the hamlet of the same name in Rovigo, on Viale dei Mille, and is one of the most established village festivals in the Polesine region. Organized by the La Zampogna group with the patronage of the Municipality of Rovigo, it stands out for its long duration, making it a meeting point for the entire community over several weeks.
Food, dancing, and fun
The heart of the festival is the food stand, with a pizzeria and restaurant and a menu ranging from first courses to grilled dishes, accompanied by themed evenings dedicated to specialties such as paella and Catalan dishes. Dancing evenings with dance orchestras liven up the festival every night, in the true spirit of a village festival in the Veronese and Polesine regions.
A festival of solidarity
Alongside conviviality, the Country Festival has a strong solidarity aspect: the charity raffle supports the hamlet's kindergarten. Between food, dancing, and community commitment, the Mardimago festival is an anticipated event that marks the beginning of summer in Rovigo.
Country Festival — edition 2026
After the 36th edition in 2025 (June 19 – July 7), the Mardimago Country Festival returns in 2026 with its 37th edition, expected between June and July. The formula remains the tried and tested one: food stand with pizzeria and restaurant, dancing evenings with orchestras, themed evenings with specialties, and a charity raffle to support the hamlet's kindergarten. The detailed program will be published by the La Zampogna group.

The usual structure includes several weeks of dancing evenings with orchestras, a food stand with pizzeria and restaurant, themed evenings (in the past, paella and Catalan dishes), and a charity raffle for the kindergarten, on Viale dei Mille in Mardimago.
