Edition 2025 — Marchese's White Night

The second edition of the Marchese's White Night took place on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM in the historic center of Montemesola. The village of Taranto dressed in white with 19th-century court dances, folk music, pizzica, tribute bands, and DJ sets, featuring a large food and wine area with Apulian and Calabrian specialties. Free admission and free shuttle from the industrial area.

The second edition of the Marchese's White Night brought the historic center of Montemesola to life on the evening of Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 9:00 PM. Organized by the Il Carrozzone Cultural and Theater Association with the patronage of the Municipality, the event confirmed the success of its 2024 debut.

In the squares and alleys, 19th-century dances curated by dance societies from Apulia and Calabria took place, with costumed dancers from all over Italy, alongside a rich musical program: from the Calabrian-Apulian folk of Giuseppe Oliveto to tribute bands, from pizzica to DJ sets. The food and wine area offered fresh mozzarella, grilled meat, octopus sandwiches, fried fish, warm pettole, handmade orecchiette, and Calabrian specialties.

Admission was completely free, with ample parking in the industrial area served by a free shuttle to the historic center.
