March for Creation 2025 — 11th Edition

The March for Creation 2025, now in its eleventh year, was held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, on the day dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi. The approximately 22-kilometer route connected Aielli to Castelvecchio Subequo, traversing the territories of Collarmele and Gagliano Aterno, within the Sirente Velino Regional Natural Park.

Along the way, participants experienced the traditional stages: at Fonte Cituro, a moment dedicated to environmental protection with the Carabinieri Forestali, and at Baullo, the site linked to the "water miracle" of Saint Francis. The march concluded at the Convent of Saint Francis, where the relic of the blood of the stigmata is kept, with a final religious celebration. The initiative, promoted by the Park together with the guides of Orsa Maggiore Trekking e Ambiente, featured limited registration, a symbolic fee of 5 euros, and a free shuttle service.
