Edition 2025 — Marateale

In 2025, Marateale brought its usual week of international cinema to Maratea at the Theatre on the Sea of the Hotel Santavenere, featuring a competition of feature films, short films, masterclasses, and meetings with stars of the silver screen.

The 2025 edition of Marateale confirmed the festival as one of the most prestigious cinematic events in Basilicata. In the evocative Theatre on the Sea at the Hotel Santavenere, screenings of the international feature film competition, the Marateale in Short and Marateale School selections, as well as masterclasses and meetings with Italian and international cinema protagonists, took place under the artistic direction of Nicola Timpone. This edition reaffirmed the event's green and international vocation.
