Edition 2025 — Marangiane in Festa

The 23rd edition of Marangiane in Festa took place from July 25th to 29th, 2025, in Piazza Paperi, Castri di Lecce. Five nights of eggplant festivities organized by the Pro Loco, featuring red and white parmigiana, meatballs, sagne 'ncannulate, chocolate parmigiana, Salento cuisine, and live music. Free admission.

Marangiane in Festa 2025

The 23rd edition of Marangiane in Festa was held from July 25th to 29th, 2025 in Piazza Paperi, Castri di Lecce, under the guidance of the Pro Loco led by Sergio Chirenti. For five nights, from 8 PM to midnight, the square hosted food stalls dedicated to the eggplant: red and white parmigiana, meatballs, sagne 'ncannulate, bruschetta, and the unique chocolate parmigiana, alongside Salento classics like pittule, pezzetti di cavallo, and grilled meats. A gluten-free stand under AIC patronage was also available, along with evening music and entertainment. Admission was free.
