Manziana Chestnut Festival 2025

The festival was held from October 10 to 12, 2025, in Manziana, Lazio, confirming the formula of a pedestrian route winding through the historic center. From Friday morning until Sunday evening, the village streets and Piazza Tommaso Tittoni hosted a dozen food stalls dedicated to local chestnuts, agricultural product stands, and artisan markets.

As per tradition, vendors roasted chestnuts in large pans and distributed them along the route, while entertainment was provided by numerous roving performances: folk and rock groups, traditional songs from Central Italy, street artists, puppet theater, and games for children. Educational workshops—from cheesemaking to terracotta crafting—were complemented by activities dedicated to children and folk dance.

The organization was managed by the Associazione Sagra della Castagna Locale with the support of the Municipality of Manziana and the work of local volunteers; the edition was hailed as a success by the local community.
