Mantua's Musical Summer
The Mantova Summer Festival is organized by Mister Wolf with the patronage of the Municipality of Mantua and has become one of the most anticipated events of the musical summer in Lombardy. The festival is distinguished by the quality of its locations: the concerts are held in two symbolic places of the city, capable of transforming a live performance into a unique scenographic experience.
Two Exceptional Stages
In July, the shows liven up Piazza Sordello, the large medieval square dominated by the Ducal Palace and the Cathedral, the historic heart of Mantua. From the end of August, the stage moves to the Exedra of Palazzo Te, the Renaissance masterpiece designed by Giulio Romano for the Gonzaga: a natural amphitheater immersed in gardens, with extraordinary acoustics and atmosphere.
A Diverse Program
The programming spans different genres and audiences: Italian singer-songwriters and pop, international rock, comedy, and theatrical performances. Over the years, the festival has brought top artists from the national scene and historic international music names to Mantua, alternating concerts and comedy theatre evenings that fill the city squares.

Mantova Summer Festival — edition 2026
The Mantova Summer Festival 2026 runs from July 4 to September 5 between its two historic venues. July is dedicated to concerts in Piazza Sordello, while August and September move to the Exedra of Palazzo Te, with a program mixing pop, rock, singer-songwriters, and comedy.
Among the most anticipated moments are the return of the Pet Shop Boys for their Italian exclusive and the historic concert of Jethro Tull; closing the festival on September 4, Gianni Morandi celebrates sixty years of career with the tour "C'era un ragazzo estate 2026".

How to get there
Mantua is served by the train station (lines from Verona, Modena, Cremona) and the A22 motorway (Mantova Nord/Sud exits). During concerts, free shuttle buses run every 10 minutes from recommended parking lots; accessible entrances for people with disabilities are available in Piazza Pallone. Entry is prohibited with glass bottles and glasses, cans, and bags larger than 15 liters.
