Manoppello under the Umbrellas 2025 — eighth edition
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, Manoppello, in the province of Pescara, hosted the eighth edition of Manoppello under the Umbrellas. At 6:00 PM, starting from Piazza San Francesco, a free guided tour took visitors through the churches, historic palaces, alleys, and squares of the village.
The day also highlighted the "Folia" land art project by artist Marco Mazzei, in collaboration with the Maiella National Park, featuring an eco-friendly metal sculpture dedicated to the miners of Marcinelle, inaugurated on August 10 and accompanied by a workshop for children and teenagers.
On the musical front, the evening featured multiple stages: at 7:30 PM in Piazza Marcinelle, live music by Klaus Fabner; at 9:30 PM in Piazza Garibaldi, a concert by the Majammè Live Band; and at 11:30 PM, a DJ set by Emanuele Di Sante along Corso Santarelli. There was no shortage of street food stalls and traditional Abruzzese cuisine, alongside a pop-up market showcasing local artisanal excellence.
