On June 2, 2025, on the occasion of the Republic Day, Joppolo Giancaxio hosted a new edition of Mangia e passìa along Corso Umberto, starting at 6:00 PM. The event, promoted by the municipal administration led by Mayor Domenico Migliara in collaboration with Legambiente, celebrated Sicilian street gastronomy with zero-mile products: offerings included lamb stigghiola, sausage, panelle, and arancine.
Alongside the culinary trail and the artisanal market, the evening featured an acoustic concert by Flavio Coloma, street theatre with Gianmarco Amato, and musical incursions by the MMO, in a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere that enlivened the Agrigento village.
