About Mandriola Festival
A Village Festival Rooted in Community
The Mandriola Festival is the summer event that makes the heart of the small hamlet of Mandriola, in the Municipality of Albignasego, in the province of Padova, beat. For almost two weeks, the parish center on Via Guglielmo Marconi transforms into a large meeting point, where different generations gather around the tables of the food stand, children's games, and evening music.
What to Eat and Do
The heart of the festival is the food stand, which opens in the evening with traditional Venetian dishes. There's also an artisanal gelato cart, an aperitif corner, sandwiches, and piadinas. For the little ones, there are bouncy castles and plenty of entertainment, while every evening the lottery with a grand prize draw attracts young and old to the stage.
An Entirely Parish-Run Organization
The event is promoted and managed by the Parish of Mandriola thanks to the work of many volunteers. Over the years, the festival has offered a convenient online pre-order service through its dedicated portal to reduce waiting times at the tables. The accompanying motto, "Flavors, celebration, community," well summarizes the spirit of an event that, while remaining a village-sized gathering, is one of the most cherished moments of the summer in Albignasego and the Paduan area.
Mandriola Festival — edition 2026
The Mandriola Festival 2026 returns to liven up the hamlet of Albignasego from June 10 to 21, with twelve consecutive evenings of celebration. The date, originally set in autumn, has been moved to the beginning of summer. The proven formula is confirmed: evening food stand with traditional Venetian dishes, artisanal gelato cart, bouncy castles and entertainment for children, musical evenings, and aperitifs. Every evening, the anticipated draw of the rich lottery.
Programme Mandriola Festival 2026
The Mandriola Festival 2026 takes place from June 10 to 21 for twelve consecutive evenings. The typical structure of the days includes:
- Food stand: opens in the evening, from 7:00 PM, with Venetian cuisine dishes
- Artisanal gelato cart and aperitif corner
- Bouncy castles and entertainment for children
- Music and themed evenings
- Lottery: draw every evening around 10:00 PM
