Edition 2025 — Mandarin Festival
The 2025 edition of the Mandarin and Citrus Festival of the Gulf of Taranto took place in Palagiano on the weekend of Saturday, December 13, and Sunday, December 14, 2025, celebrating the agricultural excellence of the Puglian territory and local farming traditions.
During the two days of the festival, visitors were able to taste fresh juices, citrus desserts, artisanal jams and preserves, liqueurs, and numerous traditional dishes based on mandarins, with the undisputed stars being the PGI Clementines of the Gulf of Taranto. There was no shortage of taste workshops, thematic exhibitions, meetings with producers, and educational activities designed to promote the agricultural culture of the territory.
In addition to the food and wine aspect, the festival confirmed itself as a great village celebration: an area dedicated to artisanal and Christmas markets, live music, folk performances, children's entertainment, and street food stalls enlivened the center of Palagiano, immersed in the atmosphere of the Christmas season.
