Malipieroconcerti is the classical music review of the Municipality of Fonte, in the province of Treviso, organized together with the G.F. Malipiero Musical Institute of Asolo. Now in its 29th edition, it takes place in spring, between April and May, and offers a series of high-profile concerts in the town's cultural venues.
Between church and auditorium
The concerts are held in two evocative locations: the Church of S. Pietro in Fonte Alto, which hosts the opening concert, and the "G. Turchetto" Auditorium, the venue for Saturday evening recitals. The program alternates chamber ensembles, trios, and solo recitals, with a repertoire ranging from the great masters of the Baroque (Bach, Albinoni, Vivaldi, Handel) to Beethoven, Ravel, and Tchaikovsky.
Music for everyone
A distinctive feature of the review is the free admission by donation, a choice that reflects the educational mission of the Malipiero Institute: to bring a wider audience closer to classical music. Malipieroconcerti — edition 2026
The 29th edition of Malipieroconcerti will be held from April 12 to May 16, 2026, in Fonte (Treviso), organized by the Cultural Services of the Municipality and the G.F. Malipiero Musical Institute of Asolo. The opening concert, on Sunday, April 12 at 5:30 PM, will take place in the Church of S. Pietro in Fonte Alto; the following four concerts will liven up Saturday evenings at the G. Turchetto Auditorium.
The 2026 program, published on the Fonte Municipality website, offers a journey from the Baroque to the Romantic and 20th-century repertoire. Free admission by donation, with reservations recommended.
