Edition 2025 — Maibaumfest

The fourth edition of the Maibaumfest took place on May 8, 2025, in San Leonardo in Passiria. A Maypole 23.5 meters tall and weighing about 1,450 kg, donated by Tobias Egger-Karlegger, was raised in the town square following a festive parade featuring a brass band, decorated floats, Goaslschnöller, and Schuhplattler. Hundreds of visitors crowded the town center.

The fourth edition of the Maibaumfest was held on May 8, 2025, in San Leonardo in Passiria, organized by the four local associations (Volunteer Fire Brigade, hunting reserve, brass band, and the "Andreas Hofer" Schützen company).

The festival opened with a parade that wound through the town center, accompanied by the wagon carrying the Maibaum, the brass band, decorated floats, and the traditional figures of the Goaslschnöller and Schuhplattler. The official tapping took place on the town bridge, followed by the raising of the pole at the Raiffeisenplatz.

The 2025 Maypole, 23.5 meters tall and weighing approximately 1,450 kg, was donated by Tobias Egger-Karlegger. The event drew hundreds of visitors from across the Passiria Valley.
