Edition 2025 — Magnalonga dei Due Castelli

In 2025, the Magnalonga dei Due Castelli had not yet taken place: the food and wine event that connects Montecchio Emilia, in the province of Reggio Emilia, and Montechiarugolo, in the Parma area, was in fact established in 2026 with its first edition. The walk of about ten kilometers along the Enza river, with six stops for typical products, is therefore a recently established event promoted by the Pro Loco of Montecchio Emilia.

The Magnalonga dei Due Castelli before 2026

The Magnalonga dei Due Castelli is a recently established event: its first edition took place in April 2026. In 2025, the event had not yet been organized. The food and wine walk was born from the collaboration between the Pro Loco of Montecchio Emilia and the associative and production realities of the Municipalities of Montecchio Emilia (Reggio Emilia) and Montechiarugolo (Parma), with the aim of enhancing the landscape of the Enza Valley and the typical products of the territory through a walk between the two castles.
