Magna Grecia Festival

The Magna Grecia Festival 2025 took place in Taranto from July 15 to August 4, spread over five evenings in the most evocative venues of the territory: from the Mon Rêve Resort to the Chamber of Commerce Terrace, passing through the Relais Histò and the Yachting Club. Under the artistic direction of Maestro Piero Romano, the festival was promoted by the Orchestra della Magna Grecia with the support of the Municipality of Taranto and the Apulia Region, confirming itself as one of the flagship events of the Ionian summer.

Opening the festival on July 15 was singer Simona Molinari, accompanied by the Orchestra della Magna Grecia. July 19 featured a tribute to Whitney Houston with South African singer Belinda Davids; July 28 saw a meeting between Mozart and tango; August 2 showcased the classical harmonies of the Youth Orchestra; and the closing night on August 4 featured an homage to Gershwin and Bacharach.
