Edition 2025 — Maggio di Pizzofalcone
A month of free events
In 2025, the festival, under the artistic direction of Marco Panico and Francesca Palumbo, offered throughout May guided tours, itineraries, readings, and performances in places of extraordinary beauty within the territory of Naples' First Municipality: Monte Echia and its Belvedere, the church of Santa Maria Egiziaca a Pizzofalcone, the church of the SS. Annunziata, the National Library, the Fondazione Mondragone, the Parisio Photographic Archive, and the Nunziatella Military School.
The grand finale on Monte Echia
Among the most popular events, on May 27th, the meeting "L'arte presa per la gola – Lucullo, il divo a tavola" took place, and on May 31st, the closing in the natural amphitheater of Monte Echia with the theatrical and musical show "Partenope…sotto le stelle", written and directed by Lello Pipolo. The same day opened with the free guided tour "Nel ventre di Partenope", an itinerary curated by Antonio Arcudi of the Archeoclub di Napoli that reached Piazza del Plebiscito from Castel dell'Ovo, crossing Monte Echia. All events were free, some with mandatory booking and limited spots.
