Madonnina Walk

The 2025 Madonnina Walk renewed a tradition dear to the small community of Ioanella, a mountain hamlet of Torricella Sicura (Teramo), at the end of August. As every year, the Ioanella Alpini Group led the walk from the village up to the Madonnina delle Nevi, a destination of devotion overlooking the Laga Mountains.

The walk, open to families and casual hikers, combined the trek through the woods and trails of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park with a moment of reflection and conviviality, confirming itself as one of the most cherished events of the Torricella Sicura summer, alongside the food festivals and celebrations of the other hamlets in the municipality.
