Edition 2025 — Madonna te li pampasciuni

On Friday, March 7, 2025, the Madonna te li pampasciuni Festival returned to San Donato di Lecce by popular demand. At 6:30 PM, at the Town Hall, the recipe competition featuring pampasciuni was held, divided into traditional and innovative categories, with dishes judged by a special jury. The gastronomic event accompanied the devotion to the Madonna Addolorata, celebrated in Galugnano on the first Friday of March.

2025 Edition

The Madonna te li pampasciuni Festival returned on Friday, March 7, 2025, in San Donato di Lecce, Salento. The heart of the event was the recipe competition featuring pampasciuni, hosted at 6:30 PM in the Town Hall, on Via G. Brodolini. The competition, organized by the Municipality, was divided into two categories, tradition and innovation, with registration open until March 5.

The event was intertwined with the devotion to the Madonna Addolorata celebrated in Galugnano, where the statue of the Virgin is carried in procession from the main church to the cemetery chapel, according to a tradition that has always united popular faith and Salento culinary culture in San Donato di Lecce.
