Madonna Santissima della Fonte Patronal Feast – Conversano in Festa

In 2025, the patronal feast of Conversano was celebrated from May 1st to May 31st, also included in the «Borgo in Fiore 2025» program promoted by the Municipality. On the occasion of the Jubilee Year, the Cathedral hosted a suggestive immersive path dedicated to Marian devotion.

Civic festivities kicked off on Saturday, May 10th, with the first edition of the «Paralleli Sonori» festival, designed to combine music, art, and local identity, and to distribute concerts throughout the month. In Piazza Castello, at 8:30 PM, two protagonists of Neapolitan and Mediterranean singer-songwriter music performed: Enzo Gragnaniello (May 10th) and Enzo Avitabile (May 17th), both in free concerts.

The religious heart of the festival was Sunday, May 25th, the day of the solemnity, with the celebration presided over by the bishop of the diocese, Msgr. Giuseppe Favale, and the solemn procession of the sacred icon through the streets of the center. The rites concluded on Monday, May 27th, with Holy Mass at the Tempietto and the return procession of the icon, amidst illuminations and fireworks.
