Edition 2025 — Madonna Maris Stella
The 2025 edition of the celebrations in honor of the Madonna Maris Stella brought the coast of Marina di Pulsano to life on August 14th and 15th. On August 14th, at 6:30 PM, Holy Mass opened the festivities, followed by a land procession that led the statue to the Stella Maris Church in Montedarena.
On Ferragosto, the most anticipated moment took place: the sea procession, with the statue of the Virgin carried along the entire Pulsano coastline, returning to Montedarena for the landing and the final Holy Mass. The festival, accompanied by the town band, drew numerous faithful, residents, and vacationers, confirming Pulsano's strong bond with the sea and Marian devotion.
Programme
August 14th
- 6:30 PM — Holy Mass and land procession to the Maris Stella Rectory
August 15th — Assumption
- 6:00 PM — Sea procession along the Pulsano coastline, departing from the Via Tamarix area and embarking from Lido Checca
- Following — Return to Montedarena for the landing of the statue and celebration of Holy Mass
