Edition 2025 — Madonna di Roca

The 2025 edition of the Madonna di Roca Festival took place in Calimera on Saturday, May 3, and Sunday, May 4. As per tradition, devotees walked to the sanctuary on the Adriatic coast for the Eucharistic celebration, followed by the procession, brass band concerts, illuminations, and the town fair in Piazza del Sole in the setting of Grecìa Salentina.

In 2025, the Madonna di Roca Festival was celebrated in Calimera on the first weekend of May, Saturday the 3rd and Sunday the 4th. The traditional walking pilgrimage led devotees from the Mother Church to the Sanctuary of Roca, on the coast near San Foca, for Holy Mass. In the evening, the procession crossed the town accompanied by fireworks, while Piazza del Sole hosted brass band concerts and the fair with stalls and local products. The illuminations lit up the streets of the center, confirming the festival as one of the most attended events in Grecìa Salentina.
