A May of devotion and celebration

The 2025 edition of the Madonna delle Rose Festival confirmed the established structure of the Piglio event: the small statue of the Virgin carried from house to house in the preceding days, the masses, and the procession that winds from the Sanctuary through the historic center of Piglio, in the province of Frosinone, accompanied by confraternities and the town band.

The evenings saw the village gather in the square for musical shows organized by the committee, with the usual closing featuring a fireworks display and a raffle draw. An edition that, as every year, drew many emigrants back to Piglio for the occasion, testifying to how central the devotion to the Madonna delle Rose remains to the community's identity.
