Madonna della Stella Festival in Dragoni

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Stella Festival brought together the community of Dragoni, a hamlet of the Municipality of Lequile, in the province of Lecce, from April 23 to 25. The program followed the traditional calendar linked to Easter, with Holy Masses at the Church of San Basilio Magno, the solemn procession with the statue of the Virgin through the village streets, and the sound of the brass band.

The 'Festa te lu Purecinu' was also a highlight, featuring the tasting of hard-boiled eggs with fresh cheese and local wine, which represents the convivial heart of the festival, along with the tribute to the fallen, evening musical performances, and fireworks that concluded the festivities, confirming the Madonna della Stella as one of the most beloved spring traditions in the Lecce area.
