Edition 2025 — Madonna della Scala Festival

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Scala Festival took place from July 31 to August 3 in the Scala district of Torregrotta. Four days marked by themed nights - Gold, Red, White, and Blue - combined music, shows, and food festivals with deep Marian devotion, culminating in the solemn celebration on August 3 and the procession of the Madonna, preceded by the blessing of the sea in memory of the fallen.

2025 Edition

From July 31 to August 3, 2025, the Scala district of Torregrotta celebrated the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Scala with a rich religious and secular program. The Gold Night (July 31) opened the festivities with a foam party and DJ set along the seafront; the Red Night (August 1) in Piazza S. Maria della Scala featured performances by local schools, a concert by Stile Italiano, and a food festival with sausage sandwiches, hot dogs, and watermelon.

The White Night (August 2) animated several squares with a parade of sports associations, sand art by Carlo Comito, and the White Talent Show, while solemn vespers on Corso Sicilia preceded the blessing of the sea with a floral tribute to the fallen and the Marian procession by boat. The Blue Night on August 3 featured a pontifical mass presided over by Cardinal Paolo Romeo - for the first time in the town's history - followed by the procession and the Act of Entrustment of the community to the Virgin.
