Madonna della Sanità Festival

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Sanità Festival was held on Sunday, September 14, coinciding with the second Sunday of the month according to the tradition of the Sanità district of Aci Catena, in the Santa Lucia parish territory.

The religious program included a solemn Holy Mass in the church dedicated to the Madonna della Sanità and the procession of the Virgin's statue through the main streets of the neighborhood, accompanied by confraternities, the faithful, and a brass band. The secular part of the festival offered live musical performances and folk entertainment, while along the streets, food stalls proposed traditional dishes and products from the Etna region, in an atmosphere of participation that involved the entire community.
