2025 Edition
The 2025 Madonna della Salette Festival took place on Sunday, September 21st, in the San Cristoforo district of Catania. The event, linked to the liturgical feast of September 19th, featured the evening procession of the Virgin's statue on its float, which traveled through the streets of the neighborhood starting from the Santa Maria della Salette Parish.
The procession was accompanied by a brass band, the prayers of the faithful, and a fireworks display, in accordance with the festival's established tradition. As every year, the neighborhood community, supported by the Salesian-run parish, participated in large numbers, confirming the strong devotional and identity-based bond between the San Cristoforo district and its patroness.
