Edition 2025 — Madonna della Pietà

On September 13 and 14, 2025, the Borgo delle Casette of Moscufo embraced the Madonna della Pietà Festival once again after the interruption caused by the health emergency. Two days of devotion and popular celebration, with religious services led by Father Mauro Evangelista and a secular program of shows in Piazza della Pietà, were welcomed with great enthusiasm by the community.

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Pietà Festival took place on September 13 and 14 in the Borgo delle Casette of Moscufo, in the province of Pescara, marking the return of a tradition "that seemed lost forever".

The religious portion was led by the parish priest Father Mauro Evangelista, while the secular program enlivened Piazza della Pietà: Saturday, September 13 at 9:00 PM, the dialect theater play "Mo t'acconce pe le feste" by the P.A.D.I. Company; Sunday, September 14, the double matinee by the Elice Band at 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and in the evening at 9:00 PM, the concert by the Jovanotti cover band "Pensieri positivi".

The event, sponsored by the Municipality of Moscufo, represented a moment of deep devotion and gathering for the entire Abruzzese community.

Sunday, September 14, 2025 - 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM: Matinee with the Elice Band; 9:00 PM: Concert by the Jovanotti cover band "Pensieri positivi". Religious celebrations led by Father Mauro Evangelista.
