2025 Edition: The 80th Anniversary

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Neve Patronal Feast, held from August 3 to 5, had a special significance: it marked the 80th anniversary of the proclamation of the Madonna della Neve as patron saint of Crispiano, which took place on August 5, 1945, while the community was also preparing for the parish bicentenary (1826).

The highlight, on Tuesday, August 5, saw a succession of morning Masses, culminating in the 11:00 AM celebration presided over by Bishop Monsignor Pietro Maria Fragnelli. In the evening, after the parish priest's Mass, Mayor Luca Lopomo renewed the handing over of the city keys to the patron saint, followed by the solemn procession which, for the first time, reached the Pentimarossa area.

On the civil front, the festival featured a grand brass band concert every evening and, as a finale, the traditional midnight fireworks.

Sunday, August 3

• Parade through the town streets by the "Città di Molfetta" street band
• In the evening, in the square: performance by the Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, in the year of its 50th anniversary

Monday, August 4

• In the evening: "Città di Francavilla Fontana" Grand Brass Band Concert, conducted by Maestro Ermir Krantja

Tuesday, August 5 — Solemnity of the Madonna della Neve

• 8:00 AM — Mass presided over by Friar Sergio Tagliente
• 9:30 AM — Mass presided over by Father Santo Guarino
• 11:00 AM — Mass presided over by Bishop Monsignor Pietro Maria Fragnelli
• 6:00 PM — Mass by the parish priest, handing over of the city keys to the patron saint by Mayor Luca Lopomo, and procession towards the Pentimarossa area
• In the evening: "Città di Castellana Grotte" Grand Brass Band Concert, conducted by Maestro Grazia Donateo
• At midnight: fireworks display by the Padovano company, concluding the festivities
