In 2025, the village of Rocca Cilento, in the municipality of Lustra (Province of Salerno, Campania), celebrated its patron saint, Santa Maria della Neve, as it does every year, on the two fixed dates of local tradition: May 25th and August 5th.

The May recurrence retains the character of a votive memorial: it commemorates the year in which, according to the story handed down in the village, the Virgin's intercession brought rain to a countryside parched by drought, saving the crops from famine. The procession, as is customary, reached the place indicated by popular belief as the point where it began to rain.

August 5th, the day the liturgical calendar remembers Santa Maria della Neve, remains the most solemn event of the year: the main celebration and the procession also draw many emigrants to the village, who plan their return to Rocca Cilento for this very occasion. No detailed programs for the 2025 edition were released online, as it followed the religious and community pattern established for generations.
