Madonna della Neve Celebrations on Monte Cervati

The 2025 edition

In the summer of 2025, the pilgrimage to Monte Cervati took place according to custom: from July 26th, the mountain became a destination for hundreds of the faithful, with the culmination of the celebrations on August 5th, the day of the patronal feast linked to the cult of the Madonna della Neve. The services were concentrated, as always, between the chapel plateau and the cave that opens in the territory of Piaggine, while the wooden statue was accompanied back down to the valley during the previous night.

Of note that year was the reopening of the sanctuary on the summit, which took place on June 8, 2025, by the Diocese of Teggiano-Policastro, restoring full accessibility to the place of worship in time for the summer pilgrimage season.
