Madonna della Luce Festival

The 2025 edition of the Madonna della Luce Festival took place on August 23rd in Roccapalumba, in the Province of Palermo. As every year, the community gathered at the Sanctuary of Maria SS. della Luce for the day's Eucharistic celebrations, culminating in the solemn Mass. In the evening, the procession of the venerated 17th-century statue of the Madonna took place, carried on shoulders through the town streets amidst the participation of the faithful. The day, part of the town's summer events, combined Marian devotion and popular festivities in the spirit of a tradition deeply felt by the entire Roccapalumba community.
