Madonna della Libera Festival 2025
The 2025 edition of the patronal festival of Pratola Peligna, in the Province of L'Aquila, stood out for a particularly rich program that combined religious devotion and high-profile civic events. The most solemn moment was concentrated in the first weekend of May: Saturday, May 3, with the display of the statue of the Madonna, solemn vespers, and the night procession; Sunday, May 4, the day of the feast, with masses culminating in the pontifical mass at 11:00 AM and the afternoon procession.
The civic program was a great protagonist, with free concerts in Piazza Garibaldi: Gemelli Diversi, Raf, Fiorella Mannoia, and, on May 10 at 9:30 PM, Fausto Leali. The calendar also featured brass bands (Introdacqua, Termoli, Pratola Peligna, Tocco), artistic gymnastics shows, photographic and painting exhibitions, DJ sets, street performers, lottery draws, and major fireworks displays on May 4 and May 24.
