Edition 2025 — Madonna della Lettera
The 2025 edition
The 2025 Madonna della Lettera Festival enlivened the seaside village of Finale di Pollina (PA) on August 9th and 10th. The religious portion had its most evocative moment during the blessing of the sea in front of the Ascension Church, near the tower, where Father Alessio Corradino led the recitation of the Angelus and blessed the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea, in a ritual rich in faith and tradition for the local community. The procession of the statue, popular games, and the brass band were also highlights.
Regarding performances, the evening of August 9th at Piazzale Torre featured cabaret by Claudio Casisa at 9:30 PM and a concert by NEJA at 10:30 PM, among the most popular events of the Pollina summer. The festivities concluded with the traditional fireworks over the sea.

Sunday, August 10, 2025
- Morning — Solemn Mass and blessing of the sea in front of the Ascension Church (Angelus led by Father Alessio Corradino)
- Afternoon — Traditional popular games ("antinna a mari", "a ruttura i pignati", tug-of-war, sack race) and performance by the Pollina brass band
- Evening — Procession of the Madonna della Lettera statue and closing fireworks
