Edition 2025 — Madonna della Croce

In 2025, Noci renewed its devotion to the Madonna della Croce with the usual cycle of early May festivities. The city streets lit up with artistic illuminations, while processions, Eucharistic celebrations, and the traditional fireworks display marked the days of the festival, from the opening procession of the Marian month to the return of the effigy to the Sanctuary on May 31st.

The 2025 edition

The 2025 Madonna della Croce Festival confirmed the vitality of a centuries-old tradition in Noci. As per ritual, in early May, the effigy of the co-patron saint was carried in procession from the Sanctuary to the town center, marking the start of the Marian month celebrated with masses and moments of prayer shared by the community.

The urban landscape was dressed for the occasion with artistic illuminations along the main streets, providing a luminous backdrop for the processions through the historic center. Traditional brass band concerts and the fireworks display were also held, which, as is customary, lit up the sky over Noci to seal the celebrations. The Marian month concluded on May 31st with the return of the image to the Sanctuary and the country festival in the surrounding fields.
