Madonna della Croce Festival

On September 14, 2025, the hamlet of Madonna della Croce in Castiglione a Casauria, in the province of Pescara, celebrated its traditional Madonna della Croce Festival. As every year, the event coincided with the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and renewed the bond of the small Abruzzo community with its patroness. The day alternated between religious and devotional moments and the convivial atmosphere of a village fair, with music and entertainment, confirming the event as one of the most attended in the Castiglione calendar.
