Madonna della Consolazione Feast and Panzarotto Festival

The 2025 festival

During the 2025 edition, the community of Lequile gathered in late September around the Madonna della Consolazione. The festival days were preceded by a novena and featured a solemn procession through the historic center, accompanied by a brass band and a large turnout of the faithful and local authorities.

Alongside the religious rites, the Panzarotto Festival enlivened the town streets with food stalls offering famous fried panzarotti, along with pittule, stuffed focaccia, and other traditional rustic Salento dishes. The evenings were accompanied by live music, festive lights, and the warm atmosphere of Apulian village festivals.
