Edition 2025 — Madonna della Cava
The 2025 edition
In 2025, the Madonna della Cava Festival confirmed its role as the primary religious event in Pietraperzia, in the hinterland of the Enna province. The Marian fortnight, from July 31st to August 14th, marked the evenings with the Rosary, the Supplication, and Holy Mass, celebrated both in the church of Santa Maria di Gesù and at the Sanctuary in Contrada Cava, animated by the town's associations and church communities.
On the night between August 14th and 15th, the most anticipated moment took place: the solemn Vespers and the midnight mass in the Sanctuary square, experienced as an intense vigil of faith. On August 15th, the day opened with the marching band through the town streets and concluded with the historic Palio procession, the act of entrustment to the Madonna, and the Eucharistic blessing, while festivities in honor of the co-patron Saint Roch continued.
