Madonna dell'Udienza Festival

On September 3rd, 2025, Giuliana celebrated its patron saint Maria SS. dell'Udienza, renewing a tradition deeply rooted in the village of the Sicani mountains.

The festivities were preceded by the solemn novena, with the recitation of the seven joys of Mary and the singing of the rosary in the Sicilian dialect. The day began at dawn with the alborata, followed by a solemn mass and a brass band parade. The most anticipated moment was the evening procession of the 19th-century float with the alabaster statue through the alleys of the center, concluded by the traditional fireworks.
